Is there a reason that "not too many people deploy OpenPBX on OS X"?
It would be sooo easy to yank the Comdial off the wall, plug the
copper pairs into a Mac, install/configure OpenPBX(azzuro) configure
for each station, swap out the comdial phones for the ip phones, and
roll with it.

Granted the OpenPBX install configure would likely need outsourced,
but that is fine.
