Yes, it connects to any server you have access to, usually on port
5038 (but you can change that in manager.conf).
If you have compiled Asterisk with Bonjour (zeroconf), then it will
see all Asterisk servers on your subnet.
This software is free, just need a new name for it to be released.
But I could use some testers to see if it works also on other
Asterisk servers. Contact me by email ivan at myrvold dot org.
