Hmmm, good question. From what I recall, the FreeBSD stuff needs new world
hardware to run. But my point was that BSD zaptel wasn't that horrific.

Well, I'll be wasting time on the FreeBSD side anyways, so looking at
it with OS X goggles from time to time might be interesting.
I have some other novelty hardware for a PC that I want to get working
on FreeBSD.

As a general effort, I'll defer to you though. Although I'm a quick
learner, I'm still a newbie in OS X waters, and I can't really judge how
difficult the driver architecture is.

Any plans to support Digium hardware by this route? If it's a hook into
Unicall, I think that would be wonderful.

No arguement with the longterm goal, but as I have a bunch of Digium stuff
hanging about, I'd like to see if there is a way to make that happy under
OS X. If Unicall, then that is fantastic. If that isn't viable short term,
I'd like to give the zaptel stuff a kick, or at least a look. I promise
not to waste lots of effort -- in the end, working would be nice, but
purchasing a new card isn't the end of the world.
