depends on what you are expecting/trying to do

I understand the reluctance of many to commit to the Mac completely  
but one question that always seems to never be asked is "How much is  
YOUR time actually worth ?"

If you don`t think your time is worth much then maybe other platforms  
are a better choice but for those that just want to get things done w/ 
o a lot of hassle & make use of their time for other things the Mac  
is difficult to beat.

I realize I`m not going to convince anyone but I`m not concerned with  
that. You have to live with your choice(s) as do I.

One thing that comes to mind for professional grade systems is XGrid  
which is, I think, going to become a big deal going forward. Point &  
click clustering using any & all of your Macs if you choose. Think  
about a corporate level system that is so robust that as long as one  
machine is operational you are & all your heavy lifting is done by  
your admin assistant`s machines while they do Word documents or  
whatever.

Seriously...

and I hope that the development folks ensure (over future versions)  
that the code base is capable of using the power of XGrid
