Like Asterisk, OpenPBX has channel modules to interface with drivers
from other projects. For example chan_zap connects to Zaptel drivers,
chan_misdn connects to mISDN drivers. However, Zaptel and mISDN are
separate projects and their drivers are neither part of Asterisk nor
part of OpenPBX, they are external add-ons.
We will keep chan_zap around to be able to interface to Zaptel, but
we are more interested in Steve Underwood's Unicall library to
interface with telephony hardware. On Linux you can already use
chan_unicall with analog interface cards.
To get drivers for interface cards for MacOS X you will have to talk
to the vendors or write your own.

At this time only from the SVN repository at
svn://svn.openpbx.org
or via the SVN web interface at
http://trac.openpbx.org
Note, the modifications for MacOS X will be in a new pre-release
(RC2) within the next few days.
After the full release which we expect to have some time in December,
there will be install packages for the general public.
