I am currently tring to run asterisk 1.4.0 on my OS X server running
10.4.9 with all system patches. I am using the Asterisk install from
http://www.mezzo.net/asterisk/... I am getting the following error
when I try to setup my iax2 configuration.
[Jun 1 14:09:42] WARNING[414]: chan_iax2.c:8306 build_peer: Unable
to support trunking on peer 'naujocke' without zaptel timing
My understanding from searching on the net is that to fix this
problem I need to have ZTdummy installed on my system to provide
dummy timing for the IAX2 trunking. I have tried to download the
zaptel drivers and compile them on my workstation to see if I can get
a Ztdummy driver to use and the system will not compile. All this is
being done on intel based servers and workstations. Is there a fix or
workaround to alleviate the problem that is occurring on my system.
Since I cannot seem to get bonjour running on my Linux box I would
rather not use it to do my telephony. Is there a solution or am I
just doing something stupid?
