It seems that most devices (Like SPA 3000 or my Nokia E61) lack Speex  
or other open source codec, right?

It will have to be that way, unfortunately, as I will run * (or  
openpbx when Afelio is ready) on a Mac Mini behind my Linksys router...

Thanks a lot Ben... I'll do some experimenting later... I will  
probably install it today - pbxes.org is driving me a bit nuts...
